A pricing project is only successful if the defined measures also endure in the long-term. This requires processes which embed pricing knowledge within the company, and price controlling which allows the management specific control.
Entrenchment within the organizational structure
Price management has to be seen as a central task and should therefore be firmly embedded within the organization. The pricing responsibilities and authorities of individual staff members should be clearly defined. The effects of pricing measures should be recorded by means of key figures that should become part of the regular reporting system. Within the pricing process, it has to be ensured that the correct conclusions and consequences are drawn from the data gathered.
Our projects result in defined pricing processes and recommendations for firmly embedding price management within the organization - paying particular attention to the conflicting priorities of product management, marketing, sales and senior management. We also develop key figure systems for our customers, and ensure these are regularly reviewed within the reporting system.
